March 16th Leonard Boswell sent out a press release on why he supports health insurance reform quoting President Theodore Roosevelt saying “Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain difficult…”

He goes on and says, “[f]or nearly 100 years, we as a country have recognized that there is a need to reform our health care system, but have instead let partisan bickering and politicking trump the health and well-being of our loved ones…

“…It will address the fact that medical expenses are the number one cause of bankruptcy in this country…

“…My priority has always been to make sure that the needs of all Iowans are addressed in final health insurance legislation…

“…Just last month, 80,000 individual policyholders in Iowa were faced with premium hikes averaging 18 percent…

“…Small business owners have been unable to hire additional employees because they can’t afford the increase in insurance costs.”

Yet another great example of the audacity of corruption.

Leonard Boswell has done nothing but politicize healthcare along with his left standing hypocrite friends.  They claim to address issues like medical bankruptcy, high insurance costs and quality of care issues yet in our own VA Hospitals currently run by the government they’ve done nothing but mismanage the entire process to the detriment of our Veterans.  This bill will do nothing to control costs.  You can’t lower premiums when costs are rising for the manufacturers and expect anything to happen.  This will lead to higher consumption rates and higher costs.

Leonard Boswell claims that he has always been working to ensure Iowans are addressed in “final” health insurance legislation.  Is that why he stood by and said nothing when Obama, Reid and Pelosi were making threats to some and bribing others to agree to this debacle of a bill?  Leonard stopped caring about Iowa and stopped voting for Iowa long before now.

Leonard Boswell uses fear-mongering tactics arguing that 80,000 Iowans saw insurance premium hikes this year yet they are the ones that are not allowing interstate competition to lower those costs.  This is what happens when you have a government regulated monopoly.

Leonard Boswell claims that the reason small businesses can’t hire new people because of the costs of insurance.  Has he forgotten we are in the middle of a recession and that the cost of a new salary is much more daunting than health insurance?  Unemployment is not tied to healthcare costs.  It is tied to the fact that the economy isn’t growing and won’t grow until Boswell and his colleagues step out of the way.

This bill is nothing but corrupt.  Leonard Boswell and his leftist leadership have done nothing but propagate lies and hide facts.  These are fabricated lies.  Government run healthcare will not decrease costs.  Government run healthcare will not increase availability. Government healthcare will not improve quality.  Government healthcare will not fix our economy.  Government healthcare is unconstitutional!  Congress has no right to dictate what I do and don’t do with my body.

A report in FOX Natposdtion, states that Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) thinks Obama is going to be the “First ‘Post-American’ President“; and, she compares him to Hugo Chavez.  That report can be viewed at http://www.thefoxnation.com/president-obama/2010/03/15/bachmann-obama-first-post-american-president-compares-him-chavez .

Even though the American people have spoken in regard to healthcare reform being forced down their throats, the New DC Mob (Obama, Pelosi and Reid) are oblivious to the will of the people.  And as more and more lies, manipulation and buy-offs come to light, who are these Americans that our politicians continue to say want this reform?

Many within the Tea Party and Coffee Party movements say that the American people will get even with these politicians come the next elections.  But what makes anyone think there will even be elections?  If this is the government takeover it appears to be, what is to stop our government from outlawing darned near everything states within the Constitution and Bill of Rights?  We may well have our “government” in place with what we have, and not be allowed to replace any of them just as many other countries are stuck with leaders for all of their natural lives.

I really hope I’m wrong with all this, but there is compelling evidence to the contrary.  Time will tell, just as it usually does.

I’m not advocating sedition mind you, but there comes a time when enough is enough! With the imminent passage of the unwanted montrosity of a Heathcare bill, it seems to me we are in France, circa 1789. I don’t know how many history buffs there are out there, but for those of you who are not aware, the Big Event in 1789 was the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille.

I have been to Paris. I’ve been to Bastille Square. I’ve also been inside the dungeon where Marie Antoinette was held prisoner until she lost her head. Literally. Not a very pleasant place.

With King Louis the XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette fully ensconced in the Senate and House, and the Messiah watching over them, I fully expect to hear the words ” let them eat cake.” Or did I miss that one. The obliviously of the “Big 3″ to the wishes of the 73% of Americans outside their doorstep is tantamount to the same situation in France. The power-hungry, narcissistic attitudes of all three boggle the mind, and their mentality of “we know what’s best for you, will of the people be damned” is a recipe for potential unpleasantness after this Healthcare passage.

Tom Harkin, Barack Obama, and other left-wingers, per Erick Erickson of RedState, are asking this question:

If Republicans are so sure passing health care reform will doom the Democrats in November, why not help them pass it?

See what I mean. These guys have all lost their heads. Figuratively.

I’ve been to the costume shop. You can get a cheap, plastic pitchfork there for about $5. And they also carry those torches people use for Hawaiian luau parties. You can get yourself some good protest gear for about $15. Not a bad price. Supplies for my signs at the Tea Parties cost me more than that.

By the way. When Pelosi finally is booted out, I’ve got dibs on her 757. I’m gonna hold a raffle and the 20 winners get to ride along. Then when we’re in the air, we’ll have a bet pool and see how long it takes us to go through $1,000 of liquor.

Last Wednesday, all 41 Senate’s Republicans signed a letter promising to hold Democrats to the letter of the Senate rules concerning reconciliation. These rules determine what items may be included in a package of alternations to the health bill Democrats intend to shove through Congress violating minority rights in an effort to take over 1/6 of the U.S. economy while simultaneously inserting themselves between you and your doctor.

Will it be enough to scare Democrats in the House? I have my doubts. I believe the GOP must shut down the entire Senate now on all legislation until ObamaCare is moved off the Senate and House calendar and both leaders promise to keep it off the calenders until the next Congress. However, I am hearing from inside sources the Senate GOP is skittish about this approach. Skittish about protecting our liberties? As one strategist put it who has created enough decision trees on the matter to wallpaper a house:

…the only viable strategy I can see is for the Republicans to begin the process of shutting down the U.S. Senate until the Democrats agree to MOVE ON — move off healthcare until the 112th Congress convenes.

I hope the Senate GOP knows what it is doing. I would not put it past VP Biden to overrule the parliamentarian and force this through. I have seen no evidence to the contrary that the entire Democratic party is in self-destruct mode and displaying outward signs of an obsessive-compulsive disorder bordering on seriously neurotic behavior when it comes to ObamaCare.

I was born in Canada. At the age of six my father moved his family to this country to escape socialism. I am 43 years old, have 25 stents (that’s right, I said 25) in three major heart arteries. I have had four heart attacks since the age of 38. If Obama, Pelsoi, Reid, et al. think I am scared of them, think again. I have defied death four times. In comparison, you are cockroaches to be stepped upon.

You hear that Obama. Come and get me. If your unconstitutional bill passes using the Slaughter Rule (which itself is blatantly unconstitutional) then it is my intention to increase my exemptions on my W4 form to ensure the tax revenue for your bill is denied you until next year and then I may consider paying - may. Am I entitled to the number of exemptions under penalty of perjury? You bet I am - I deem it so.

I hope millions will do the same. For then you will have neither the manpower nor the ability to enforce your unconstitutional law. If the Democrats think they are stubborn by shoving this down the throats of an unwilling public, we will show you the true meaning of stubborn.

I am not going to wait for the Supreme Court to rule ObamaCare unconstitutional. If they do, fine, if they do not, fine. In my mind this is the last proof one needs that nullification is the only option to stop the madness that is Washington DC - regardless of what the SCOTUS ruling is on ObamaCare. Too many other violations of our rights as defined in the Constitution require addressing. Only the states can fix this problem now and only if many of them stand together.

Washington, this time you have gone to far. Your tiny brains cannot begin to comprehend the storm that will hit you should you not kill ObamaCare now. If clear-headed Democrats still exist in the Congress, then I would highly recommend that enough of them get together and write a letter to Pelosi telling her exactly where she can put her bill and that they will not, under any circumstances, vote for either the Slaughter Rule or for ObamaCare. The well has been poisoned and the game is over. Recognize that or go down in history complicit in the destruction of your own party.

Will I pay the tax penalty for underpayment? No, I will not. I deem it true that the penalty is not required of me. I deem the President and any liberal who votes for the Slaughter rule or for ObamaCare unfit for office and a traitor to this country. As President it is your job to stand up and say enough when the constitution itself it being trampled upon. The fact you do not clearly demonstrates your contempt for this document. As you swore to uphold it, any failure to do so had better be met with your removal from office when we take over in 2010.

Resolved: The federal government derives its power from the people and state’s of this country. This has been true from the times of the Constitution itself.

Resolved: The federal government has overstepped its bounds and grabbed power to the point that it has corrupted the minds of many politicians with such a level of contempt and insanity that the only recourse is to fight tyranny. As it states in the Declaration of Independence, it is our duty to fight tyranny. Not our right - out duty. It can be done peacefully and will be done peacefully. Our leaders not longer hold power. Rather, it is power that holds them.

Enough is enough. Bring. It. On.

Not only will you lose your precious ObamaCare, you will kill progressive politics and set it back a century or more. You will have done more in one year for the rights of the people and the states than we could possibly have imagined and you will, in the process, remove yourself as an obstacle to liberty for a very, very long time.

Today is the day to not ask questions - it is the day for action. The Senate GOP must shut down the Senate, and halt the normal course of business in Washington on all matters of legislation for the foreseeable future until ObamaCare is dead or until the 2010 elections. No longer will fig leafs and wobbly excuses suffice. Do it and do it now. Use this time to expose those who would abscond with our liberty by ignoring the very document that made this country great. The campaign for 2010 starts today. The Democrats have lost the mandate, their jugular is exposed and now is the time to move in for the kill. Show yourselves to be field mice who scatter at the slightest noise and the results will not be to your liking. Show yourselves to be wolves and lions and we will consider you strong allies.

And would someone please send Pelosi, Obama, and Slaughter the School House Rock cartoon “I’m Just a Bill”? Perhaps this better fits their intellectual capacity to understand basic civics. Then we can move on to the alphabet.

Go ahead Obama, make my day. I want to be the poster child that brings you down. I want to chronicle for the world a new narrative of David vs. Goliath. I want this to be the beginning of an army of Davids, taking down your entire agenda and shattering it to pieces around you. You are a thief of liberty, a manipulator, and an egotistical maniac, keeping company with like-minded thieves. This is the beginning…of the end. I will not rest until the states have taken back their rightful place in the power structure and I want you to know that you will be responsible for heralding in a new age of liberty - much to your chagrin. Now if you will excuse me, I have to get back to clinging to my gun and my bible.

Oh, and by the way I am hearing from the AP you are open to some deals now on your bill. The only deal that is acceptable is for your bill to die a well-deserved death until the next Congress can take it up. We need health care reform in this country. We just don’t need your version of it. I’d like my doctor and I to make decisions concerning my health care thank you very much, and I would appreciate it if you would quit lying through your teeth about the benefits of your bill. You are past the point of looking like an disingenuous fool on this issue.

 The President of Blame really isn’t losing much sleep at night, in fact his agenda is right on track. He was placed in office to “Spread the Wealth,” and spreading is what he did in 2009 with the Stimulus bill and in 2010 the ugly face of a Healthcare Reform that is nothing more than a cover up for spreading the wealth via big government.  Check out Obama’s grants for 2009 - ACORN wasn’t forgotten!

So how did Americans fall for a man who doesn’t keep his word, his promises or his allegiance to our USA?  Let’s trek back to January 20^th, 2009 and read a very small portion of Obama’s Inaugural speech. This speech was a replica of a  Barnum & Bailey Circus under the big top, Mr. Obama with his charisma, eloquent ability to speak was the ringmaster. Mr. Obama, you said,

“For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act — not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.” 

In response to Mr. Obama’s poetical oration presented to Americans in a better than thou pompess manner, we’ve become tired of your theatrical skills and side shows. Let’s get this clear Mr. “O,” the state of the economy calling for bold and swift action was never your priority.  We’re still waiting!

We asked for jobs – you said, can’t help now too busy with the healthcare reform.

We asked for assistance with home foreclosures – you gave us programs that were DUDS and only placed us deeper in debt.  You said, “Gotta go now working on my Pet Pig.”

We asked for jobs again – you gave us an extension on our unemployment. We wanted real jobs, Obama. You said, “don’t have time for that now working on my Health Reform, but I gave you a token Americans, what’s your problem?

We asked you to keep your promise and down size the government – that didn’t happen either. Under your watch we have the largest federal work force in all of modern history.  It didn’t keep you from hiring all of your Czars at top salaries – you let us down Obama.

We asked you to get a handle on earmarks – another botched Obama program (ABOP.) Earmarks for 2009 will top out around 19.9 billion. Really Obama, we’re not into manure and swine management and we don’t care if Pelosi’s little mouse has to go to an orphanage.
